ABOUT STEM International Organization
The STEM International Organization (STEMIO) is a platform for professionals, who contribute meaningfully to STEM research around the world through their scientific investigations and research projects.
The United States recognizes the need for investment in STEM education in order for young people to be competitive in the jobs market. In September 2017 President Donald Trump signed a presidential memorandum to expand access to high-quality STEM education for young people. It will put STEM education, particularly computer science, at the forefront of the Department of Education’s priorities. It also aims to devote at least $200 million a year in grant funds towards this area. Our Organization recognizes the importance of encouraging students from an early age to have an appreciation and a growing understanding of science.
In an increasingly global society, as an initiative to support the STEM research, we have established this society to create and expand opportunities for all researchers that will enable them to navigate and lead the 21st century. See more at: https://stemio.org/.
