To further distinguish APM as a premier journal in the fields of palliative medicine and palliative care, and to ensure the publication of impactful content in APM, we will reduce the publication frequency of APM from monthly to bimonthly beginning with Vol. 12, in 2023.

Physical technologies have already been used widely in the current medicine, in palliative care as well. As the Editor-in-Chief of Annals of Palliative Medicine, Dr. Howard S. Smith had been dedicated to the palliative care in his whole career life.
