The article “Clinical study on the effect of intramedullary fixation and extramedullary fixation on unstable intertrochanteric fractures” (doi: 10.21037/apm-21-3635) published in the Volume 10 No. 12 (December 2021) issue has been retracted due to non-original content and deficiencies in the conduct of the study (1). The retraction is agreed by all the authors.
